A sauna experience
embraced by sea and fire

Motona Beach spreading out before you, the flames of a wood-burning stove, the sound of the waves and the sea breeze. In a special space where you can become one with nature, savour to your heart's content the “totonou” woven by self-löyly and a dive into the sea.

Feel the soft yet powerful heat of a HARVIA wood-burning stove. The temperature can be adjusted between 70 and 110°C, and the aroma of self-löyly blends with the bracing seaside air. A luxurious sauna experience found only here, wrapped in the sound of the waves and the flicker of flames.

Cool Down

Open-air rest corner

After the sauna, rest outdoors in the pleasant sea breeze. We also offer “Oropo” (a favourite Japanese sauna drink) and Boso lemon water as refreshing drinks. Gaze at the sea and sky and savour the afterglow of “totonou” to the full.

Water Bath

Cold bath

A cold bath fed by pure spring water welling up from Mt. Nokogiri. Its soft touch on the skin and deep cooling effect reset the body in an instant after the sauna. You can also plunge straight into the sea in front of you and feel nature's freedom with your whole body.

Lounge

Lounge & changing rooms

Before and after the sauna, time wrapped in a pleasant afterglow. The shared areas include an open lounge with a resort mood and changing rooms. The changing rooms are equipped with lockers and shower booths. After rinsing off, take your time getting ready with DHC skincare amenities.

Fire Place

Outdoor bath & fireplace

In the outdoor bath facing the sea, you can savour the post-sauna freshness together with nature. Time spent around the flames of the fireplace adds colour to the special hours from dusk into night.

· High-season rates apply during Golden Week, Obon and the New Year holidays.
